Job Summary: The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement management system within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures, managing a team of procurement professionals, and ensuring that procurement activities meet or exceed company objectives. The Procurement Manager conducts regular audits, reviews procurement performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing procurement documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and reporting on procurement performance to senior leadership. Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy: u2022 Developing long-term and short-term procurement goals u2022 Creating and implementing sourcing strategies u2022 Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement u2022 Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships u2022 Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability u2022 Ensuring procurement processes align with company goals and objectives Supplier Management: u2022 Conducting supplier performance evaluations u2022 Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers u2022 Managing supplier relationships and addressing any issues that arise u2022 Ensuring suppliers meet quality and delivery standards u2022 Evaluating potential new suppliers and maintaining a diverse supplier base Inventory Management: u2022 Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting future needs u2022 Optimizing inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure availability u2022 Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers u2022 Implementing inventory control measures to prevent loss or damage Budget and Cost Control: u2022 Creating and managing the procurement budget u2022 Tracking and analyzing procurement expenses u2022 Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to reduce costs u2022 Ensuring all procurement activities are within budget and in line with company financial goals. Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with at least 5 years experience., with at least 2 years experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. u2022 Proven experience in import/export operations with significant supervisory experience. u2022 Expert-level understanding of advanced failure analysis techniques. u2022 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions. u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations. u2022 Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. u2022 Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Google Analytics, and various CRM platforms. u2022 Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and SEM campaigns. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively. u2022 A strategic thinker with a test-and-learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements. u2022 Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
