Facilitates, organizes, and reviewsthedaily workflow to deliver maximalservice to patients.Prioritizes, motivates, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values ofHCAHealthONEAurora.Ensuresfacility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with JCAHO regulations andHealthONEAurorastandards.Positivelydemonstratesconcern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.Demonstrates independent critical thinking skillsfor daily activity and patient flow of therespiratory caredepartment and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.Responsible for completing employee annual performance evaluations, as directed, as well as system analysis, implementation and management of budgetary requirements.Covers patient care caseloads as directed. Responsible and accountable for the full range of human resourcemanagement ofstaff. Position Requirements:Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Colorado Respiratory LicenseCurrent BLS certification-AHAor ARCCurrent ACLS certification-AHAor ARCCurrent PALS certification-AHAor ARCRRT credentialrequiredEducation: Bachelor’s degreestrongly preferredGraduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist ProgramExperience: Fiveyearsclinicianexperiencepreferred.Threeyearssupervisor experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Expert knowledge ofallrespiratory care principles andprocedures.Employeemust be able to handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure.Must function independently and make appropriate decisions.
