ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy services as directed by a licensed occupational therapist. May work in collaboration with other health care professionals. May provide treatment to individuals or groups as necessary.Identify and prioritize patient problems and notify the Occupational Therapist of areas of concern with patient response.Responsible for completing basic occupational therapy assistant competencies in addition to departmental-specific competencies.Meet productivity expectations for level of care.Provide detailed and concise documentation related to patient careTake ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or municate and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”. QualificationsJob Requirements:Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements:One (1) year of related experience.
