Learn more at Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry with minimal supervisionInterpret blueprints, work orders, and change orders accuratelyCollaborate with Lead Carpenters and assist as the second carpenter on siteCommunicate issues or changes to the Lead Carpenter or Production ManagerLayout and install framing, doors, cabinetry, windows, and millworkPerform drywall installation and tapingComplete light repairs in painting, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systemsMaintain clean, safe, and organized job sitesProtect company tools, equipment, and client propertyCoordinate next assignments with Production Manager Qualifications 4+ years of experience in carpentry, including rough and finish workAbility to read construction documents and follow detailed instructionsStrong communication and collaboration skillsProfessional appearance and solid work ethicMust own a reliable vehicleAbility to lift up to 100 lbs and work in physically demanding conditionsValid drivers license with a clean driving recordPositive, team-oriented attitude Benefits After 30 Days:$400 car allowance$70 tool allowance$30 cell phone allowance$25 truck sign allowanceAfter 60 Days:2 weeks paid time off (increases to 3 weeks after 5 years)Health insurance with 85% employer-paid individual coverageAfter 90 Days:6 paid holidaysAfter 1 Year (Enroll Jan 1 or July 1):401(k) with employee contributionProfit Sharing Bonus (3% of salary when annual goals are met) Schedule MondayFriday7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. (or 3:30 p.m. without lunch)Includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunchOccasional overtime may be required and must be approvedBi-weekly pay cycle Work Location Elm Grove, WILocal residential job sites throughout the surrounding area Equal Employment Opportunity SJ Janis Company Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
