OverviewJob Summary The Team Leader provides a high level of support to team members, including Account Representatives, Account Executives and Sales Executives. The Team Leader maintains an assigned book of business as required and serves as representative of team to Management. How you'll make an impactEssential Duties and Responsibilities Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office. Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal polices and endorsements.Audits for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages and signatures. Markets both new and renewal accounts. Identifies account coverages that should be added or expanded.Maintains accounts and activities per Agency procedures.Serves as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to staff.Performs annual Employee Performance Appraisals for team members.Resolve Employee Relations issues with assistance from Human Resources Attends client meeting with or without Producer as needed.Other duties as assigned. About YouQualifications Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 6-10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceProperty and Casualty License8+ years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance with 5+ years of experience of independently managing a book at an insurance agencyTech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software; intermediate skills in Microsoft Office productsProfessional designations preferred Compensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
