Tax Interns at Crowe will work together to support ourclients spanning a wide range of industries which may include manufacturing and distribution, retail, construction, real estate, and diversified financialinstitutions.Responsibilities:Preparation of tax returnsBasic tax researchLearning foundations of tax concepts needed as a tax professionalIn addition, staff may have diverse opportunities to work as a team member on both domestic and international client engagements.We provide our professionals with the appropriate level of training, opportunities and support enabling them to take on additional responsibilities and encounter a broader range of experiences earlier in their careers. Join us and experience a career with an impactQualifications:Pursuing Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in tax, accounting, or similar degreeCPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license. Prior to starting full-time, new hires must fulfill the education-related eligibility criteria to obtain a CPA license in their assigned Crowe work location. These requirements vary by state, and it is the new hire's responsibility to ensure that they satisfy the applicable criteria prior to starting with the firm.Proficient with ExcelRelevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignmentsAbility to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levelsAvailable to work/travel evenings or weekends when needed (Saturday and/or Sunday)Car may be required to travel to client siteWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
