Special Education Teacher Location: Santa Maria, CA Contract Length: 2025u20132026 School Year Start Date: ASAP-end of school year Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 37.5 paid hours per week Setting: In-Person Only Grade Levels: TKu20138 (specific assignment discussed during interview) Position Overview The Special Education Teacher, under the guidance of the Special Education Program Administrator, delivers high-quality educational services to students with special needs in grades TK through 8. This role requires active collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement individualized student programs, including specialized instruction, tutoring, and consultation with general education staff. Responsibilities + Provide instruction and support to students with special needs in accordance with IEPs. + Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure inclusive practices. + Participate in planning meetings and contribute to program development. + Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations.
