We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations within our organization. This role is pivotal in driving accurate accounting practices, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. Based in Sacramento, California, the Controller will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to enhance performance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes. u2022 Develop and maintain comprehensive financial systems and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Oversee audit processes and ensure smooth interactions with regulatory bodies. u2022 Work alongside senior leadership to support strategic business decisions and improve overall company performance. u2022 Provide financial guidance to enhance operational efficiency across various departments. u2022 Partner with human resources and IT teams to integrate financial functions effectively. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify trends and support long-term planning. u2022 Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or related roles. u2022 Proficiency in NetSuite and other financial reporting tools. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements. u2022 Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed financial reports and analyses. u2022 Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities and drive operational improvements. u2022 Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
