Summary: In this position, the Focus Factory Team Leader is responsible for new hire training for cell lead and support this effort with production assemblers. This role is also responsible for the production trends, analytics, and facilitating process improvements in their assigned product lines. Additionally, the Focus Factory Team Leader is accountable to follow and uphold all written documentation within the site. This includes but is not limited to work instructions, critical processing, manufacturing operating instructions, testing, and ISO procedures. Their assigned production cells must meet both the quality standards and productivity efficiency requirements. Job Title: Focus Factory Team Leader Location: Irwindale, CA Pay Range: $110,000-125,000 Whatu2019s the Job? + Responsible for the safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity and 5S of all production assembly cells and testing centers. Works cross functionally with all departments effectively to balance demand with capacity and material movement, this duty ensures customer satisfaction and revenue as the key performance deliverable. + Lead & develop people through active leadership, instilling the GF values, development plans, performance management and training matrices while living collective accountability. Develop & deliver fair, accurate and meaningful employee performance reviews. + Develops, aligns & obtains company/departments goals, objectives and budget. + Lead, coordinate and facilitate the daily operations to provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction and problem solving to ensure business goals are met. Lead and contribute to cross-functional Goal Meeting (WIG), Daily Management and Gemba to drive cross-functional execution while tracking daily performance through the use +QDIP goals on a daily basis. Ensuring when a miss occurs, a root cause analysis and counter measures are identified, executed and validated for effectiveness. + Improve company and department performance through Operational Excellence/LEAN principles, methods, modules and elements. As well as CAPEX for new or existing equipment to increase capacity and/or improve effectiveness. + Responsible for new hire training for cell lead job duties and production/assembly employeeu2019s functions as well as maintaining training skill matrix. Develop opportunities for employee growth while ensuring cross training for resource allocation. Whatu2019s Needed? + Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university + 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment + Strong leadership experience including training and development of employees + A full understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts (Material flow and layout, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, Value Stream Map, Performance to Takt, etc.) + Experience managing engineering documentation (Work instructions, critical processing, manufacturing operating instructions, testing, and ISO procedures, etc.) + Ability to lead and coordinate multi-functional team project If this is a role that interests you and youu2019d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
