Internal Auditor

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Auditor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Liverpool, New York. This role involves conducting payroll audits for various labor unions across New York State and ensuring compliance with county-specific guidelines. Extensive training will be provided to help you succeed, with the potential for growth within the organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform payroll audits for a variety of labor unions, including plumbers, laborers, and asbestos workers. u2022 Generate detailed reports outlining audit findings and recommendations. u2022 Review employee rates and ensure adherence to county-specific regulations. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies identified during audits. u2022 Maintain accurate records and documentation related to audit processes. u2022 Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and assist in implementing corrective actions. u2022 Utilize internal audit programs to ensure compliance with organizational standards. u2022 Stay updated on relevant labor and payroll regulations to enhance audit accuracy. u2022 Participate in ongoing training to improve auditing skills and knowledge. u2022 Contribute to long-term organizational goals by delivering high-quality audit results.
