As a Project Manage in Findorff's Special ProjectsGroup, you will be responsible for estimating and managing severalconstruction projects at one time. These projects can vary in size andscope from $200 to $1,500,000 (averaging around $100,000). Frompre-construction through project close, you'll oversee the day-to-dayconstruction management efforts of your projects. Your expertise, workethic, attention to detail and versatility will form the foundation ofevery build. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, distribute and track RFIs,construction bulletins, RFPs, and change documentation. Create andupdate project schedules and keep project stakeholders informed. Managecloseout activities, including distribution and tracking of punch lists,change orders, contracts, permits, and owner occupancy details. Scheduleand facilitate effective project meetings. Proactively manageprocurement logs and submittal processes. Review shop drawings andsamples. Incorporate virtual construction/BIM with projects. Prepare andmanage contracts, permits, and approvals. Qualifications: Excellentwritten, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills. Meticulousorganizational skills. Team player that encourages collaboration. Strongmathematical aptitude. Strong analytical, problem-solving and mediationskills. Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in ConstructionManagement, Engineering, Architecture, Finance or related field(equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered). At least 7years of know-how in managing construction projects exceeding $100k. Abroad knowledge of building systems and construction methods. Anunderstanding of the complexities and sequences of all constructionactivities. Knowledge of construction law, contract terms, disputeresolution, and risk management.
