About the Role The Manufacturing Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment. This leadership position ensures product reliability, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction by implementing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System. The Manufacturing Quality Manager drives continuous improvement using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality engineering principles while integrating digital tools and data-driven practices to enhance transparency and decision-making. Candidates with experience in ISO 9001 compliance, quality audits, and manufacturing operations will excel in this role. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and other standardsLead cross-functional initiatives to improve product quality, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfactionOversee real-time quality metrics and dashboards to track performance and identify trendsCollaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate QMS with ERP and MES platformsPromote a culture of continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologiesManage and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance and audit readinessEstablish and monitor key performance indicators for quality and lead regular review meetingsDevelop, enforce, and communicate quality control procedures across production processesSupervise inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished productsDocument investigations, corrective actions, and preventive measures to address quality issuesTrain, mentor, and evaluate quality personnel to maintain high standards of performance and compliance Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related fieldMinimum of five years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environmentAt least two years in a leadership or management roleSix Sigma Certification or ISO 9001 CertificationStrong analytical skills with proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solvingHands-on experience with quality assurance tools and quality management systemsKnowledge of manufacturing processes, technical specifications, and regulatory standardsAbility to identify defects and nonconformities quickly and accuratelyExperience with quality metrics, audits, and compliance requirements Desired Qualifications: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent professional certificationFamiliarity with AI and machine learning applications in quality controlExperience integrating QMS with ERP and MES platformsKnowledge of ITAR and other industry-specific compliance standardsProficiency with automated inspection systems and statistical process control softwareDemonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing quality
