Press Operator

Position Summary The Press Operator is responsible for safely operating production press equipment to manufacture quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures efficient machine operation, accurate part production, and adherence to safety, quality, and productivity requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor press machines according to production specifications.Perform routine quality checks on parts to ensure they meet required dimensions and standards.Load raw materials into the press and remove finished parts.Adjust machine settings to maintain proper operation and product quality.Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and use of PPE.Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues plete required production documentation, including counts, inspections, and shift logs.Assist with basic press maintenance and tooling changes as directed.Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.Previous press operation or manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, measurements, and basic blueprints.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
