Position: Punch Press Operator We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate punch press machines to produce metal partsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to determine production requirementsSelect and install appropriate tooling and dies for each jobAdjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, speed, and depth of cutMonitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defectsTroubleshoot and resolve issues as they ariseInspect finished parts for quality and accuracyMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all safety protocols and proceduresComplete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience operating punch press machinesStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and work ordersExperience with setting up and adjusting tooling and diesAttention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality workStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issuesGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsWillingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
