Job DescriptionGeneral Summary: Experienced Maintenance Technician responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment in the production lab. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Preventative Maintenance on equipment, maintaining PM checklistsHandling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down timeServicing CNC Edgers and Generators: cleaning, performing routine tasks, changing or fixing parts and recalibratingMaintaining Edgers and Blockers: keep filters and components clean, change cutters, checks for prism and axisServicing other equipment and systems in the labFollow all safety rules, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilize PPE if requiredGuides junior technicians in maintenance department duties and other tasks as assignedQualifications1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)Experience in manufacturing and optical industry desirableNo specific education is requiredMust be able to read and write EnglishRequires accuracy, some mental effort and occasional organization and planningAdditional InformationNational Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
