Job Description

As production ramps, you rotate between spot checks, sampling plans, first‑piece/first‑article verifications, and when required, 100% inspection to safeguard build quality. Throughout the shift, your microscope work uncovers subtle defects on bare PCBs and electro‑mechanical assemblies, and you log precise findings to maintain complete, compliant documentation. Collaboration drives your impact. You surface deviations and non‑conformances in real time with Quality and Engineering, support root‑cause investigations, and help implement corrective and preventive actions. You run regular quality line audits—confirming documentation is current, consumables and tooling are controlled, and calibration and ISO practices are followed. ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention are second nature, and you’re comfortable operating the right inspection equipment to get the job done. When customers conduct source inspections, you’re ready with organized records and objective evidence. What you’ll do Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections, including customer source inspections. Ensure line‑level quality via spot inspections, sampling, first‑piece verification, and 100% inspection as needed. Verify in‑process material compliance to Customer and Industry Standards and record results accurately. Identify defects, specification deviations, and non‑compliance issues; collaborate with Quality and Engineering. Support root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Execute and document first‑piece/first‑article verification runs with all required paperwork. Document non‑conformities clearly against process and specification criteria. Conduct regular quality line audits to check documentation, consumables, and tooling status. Champion ESD, PPE, FOD prevention, calibration control, and ISO compliance verifications. Operate appropriate inspection and measurement equipment proficiently. Required qualifications 3-5 years of quality assurance experience inspecting electro‑mechanical assemblies, bare PCB, and mechanical enclosures in a manufacturing environment. Hands‑on exposure to MMIC technology (amplifiers, attenuators, filters, switches, etc.). Ability to work at a microscope for up to 8 hours per day. Familiarity with IPC Industry Standards. High School diploma (or equivalent). Preferred qualifications J‑STD‑001 Class 3 and/or IPC‑A‑610 certification. Experience within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality system environments.
