Structural Engineer (Greenhouse)Company based out of NE IowaDirect HireA local Northeast Iowa base company is seeking a Structural Engineer who will be part of an engineering and design teams. The right fit candidate will have a knowledge of the complexities of a construction design and also possess a skill set of project execution to include defining project scope, budget estimations for the structural portion of the projects.What you get to do:Coordinate structural steel design including building and some foundation elements.Designing and engineering glass greenhouse structuresPerform calculations to ensure proper component design at both the part and structural levels.Write specifications to ensure applicable building codes are met.Working knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques.What we’d like you to bring the table:B.S. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.Experience with Structural Engineering software a plus.Strong technical and analytical aptitude, willing and able to research and learn complex topics with minimal guidanceAbility to multi-task and manage multiple activities/projectsMust have strong communication skills with an ability to effectively manage conflictExperience with project scheduling and management of multiple projectsInterested in learning more?
