3rd Shift Press Operator

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known metal manufacturing facility in Gallatin TNWe are now hiring Press Operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable!20-24/Hr DOE2nd or 3rd shift positions (all training is on 1st shift and requires 90 days then transition to 2nd or 3rd)Must have press experience with precision measurement, changeover, tooling, troubleshooting and stamping. Resume will need to reflect a stable job history.Qualifications:6-12 months relevant experience. Mechanically inclined; assessment may be given, basic computer knowledge, great organizational and time management ability, attention to detail, effectively communicate, ability to work safely in a fast paced environment, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, ability to work in a team environment or independently, ability to work overtime.Responsibilities:"operate a power press to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal. Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications and performs quality inspections. • Assembles, installs and aligns dies in press according to specifications.• Adjusts ram stroke to specified height.• Positions work pieces against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.• Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.• Inspects works pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
