Junior Videographer & Editor

Steampunk is seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Videographer & Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in elevating our digital brand presence and driving meaningful engagement across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a versatile storyteller with hands-on experience in social media, video, and podcast production, as well as strong video editing skills.Responsibilities:Works directly with Digital Production Manager to translate latest thinking and capability strategies into new content and delivery platformsEngages with Steampunk teams/employees to solicit best practices and lessons learned to continuously capture up-to-date approaches to content production.Works with Steampunk leadership and teams across the business to understand highest priority needs for content collection/creation and training material publishingQualificationsMinimum 2 years of professional experience with video editing and graphic engineering programs using the Adobe Creative Cloud and proficiency with other programs such as iMovie, Camtasia, Canva, or similar tools.Professional experience with DSLR photography withflash and off-camera flash inside and outside office workspacesProfessional lighting experience for creative video captureProfessional audio capture using Bluetooth or remote devices for clear soundStrong knowledge and experience with producing content for various social media platformsMust be a U.S. CitizenPreferred Qualifications:Record, produce, and edit podcasting recording video and audio formatExperience in creating digital assets (overlays, lower-thirds, captions, intro, outro, etc.)Steampunk is a Change Agent in the Federal contracting industry, bringing new thinking to clients in the Homeland, Federal Civilian, Health and DoD sectors.
