With approximately 175,000 team members and 25,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians.Our commitment to serve the common good is delivered through the dedicated work of thousands of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and staff; through clinical excellence delivered across a system of 140 hospitals and more than 2,200 care centers serving 24 states.As a Float Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide versatile clinical and administrative support across various departments, ensuring seamless patient care and operational efficiency throughout our facilities.Every day you will expertly triage patients, assist providers with examinations and procedures, manage patient records digitally, and meticulously maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adapting seamlessly to diverse settings.To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a proactive, patient-centered demeanor, contributing significantly to optimal patient flow and high-quality care wherever assigned.Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.May be required to collect urine drug specimens, draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.Administer ordered medications and /or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and /or nasal administration.May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKGs.This positions has a $3000 Sign on bonus for eligible new hires!RequiredHigh School Graduate General Studies, upon hire orHigh School GED General Studies, upon hire andgraduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, upon hireCertified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire orCertified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire orCertified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire orNational Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire orNational Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire orRegistered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire orRegistered Medical Assistant, upon hire orCert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hirePreferredTwo year medical assistant experience
