Pier Sixty-Six invites dedicated, energetic, and polished hospitality enthusiasts eager for growth and stardom to join our team and enjoy highly competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that honors and respects you.We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Saltbreeze Bartender PT to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!Reporting to the outlet General Manager as Bartender, you will support and provide excellent and personalized service at The Nectar Room. This role requires a passion for mixology, personalized service, and guest engagement offering luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment.Maintain complete knowledge of all products, brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes available.Greet guests promptly with a smile, make eye contact, and use names to personalize service and signal recognition.Serve beverages and food in accordance with established guidelines: specified glassware, correct pouring, recipes, measures, and garnishes.Prepare and serve beverages in a professional, efficient, and proactive manner.Oversee bar maintenance: keep the bar clean and organized; keep glassware, soda, and garnishes stocked; communicate any missing items to management.Coordinate food service at the bar with the kitchen, service team, and support team.Provide guests dining and drinking at the bar with a great experience while ensuring the service team receives prompt service for table guests.Proactively anticipate guest and team needs and make personalized recommendations.Enter all orders in the POS immediately and accurately; present accurate checks and fully process payments.Serve alcohol responsibly with strict ID verification and measured pours while operating with integrity in all transactions.Restock to par levels and notify supervisors immediately of any shortages or out-of-stocks.Promote a clean, safe, and supportive work environment in line with health code and resort policies.Minimum 2 years’ bartending experience in fast paced, high-end, luxury food & beverage operationsEnergized, enthusiastic, and motivated individualPassionate about mixology with a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, spirits, and beersUnderstanding and natural adherence to Brand ValuesMust be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write EnglishMust have effective communication skills and know when to ask for helpAvailability to work day shift in to late afternoon/ early evenings on weekends and holidays within hours of operationAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs without assistanceAble to work in variable indoor/outdoor South Florida conditions and be able to stand or walk for extended periods of timeAbility to maintain decorum and continue to work well with others in stressful, high-pressure situationsExperience, Education, & LicensureHigh School Diploma or GED recommended.Some College experience or Degree recommended.TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire.Must have a current Food Handlers card.Previous bartending experience in a professional setting is preferred.As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.Participation in a pre-tax flexible benefit plan for healthcare and dependent care reimbursementAn employee assistance programPaid time off/sick timeParticipation in a 401(k) plan with a company matchComplimentary team member mealsComplimentary room nights at CoralTree Hospitality managed propertiesJoin us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, building vibrant communities, and shaping the future of travel and hospitality. #piersixtysixresort
