Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Spring, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth financial operations by handling key accounting tasks such as invoice processing, account reconciliation, and vendor payments. Responsibilities: u2022 Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation. u2022 Manage vendor payments, including verifying and reconciling payment records. u2022 Post customer payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. u2022 Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Maintain and organize financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. u2022 Utilize Excel tools such as pivot tables and V-lookup to analyze and manage financial data. u2022 Support accounting functions related to the construction industry. u2022 Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. u2022 Perform data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy of accounting records. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software. u2022 Strong skills in Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and V-lookup. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to process invoices and reconcile accounts effectively. u2022 Experience in financial data entry and documentation. u2022 Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. u2022 Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry is a plus.
