Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our prestigious law firm in Dallas, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to engage in complex civil litigation cases at both state and federal levels, working with a diverse and national client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling cases from inception to resolution and exhibit strong trial capabilities. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage a comprehensive caseload, overseeing all phases of litigation from initial filing to case closure. u2022 Draft and file legal motions, pleadings, and other necessary litigation documents with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in mediation and trial proceedings. u2022 Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop strategic approaches tailored to each case. u2022 Provide defense representation in areas such as personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and malpractice related to specialized fields. u2022 Handle commercial vehicle and trucking litigation, ensuring thorough preparation and case execution. u2022 Participate in trial preparation and serve as second or first chair during trials. u2022 Maintain compliance with legal standards while delivering high-quality representation and advocacy. u2022 Foster detail oriented growth and contribute to the firm's reputation through exceptional legal work. u2022 Demonstrate leadership and initiative in advancing cases efficiently and effectively. Requirements u2022 Hold a valid license to practice law and be in good standing with the state bar. u2022 Possess 8 or more years of civil litigation experience, with flexibility for candidates with slightly less or more experience. u2022 Demonstrate expertise in areas such as (defense)personal injury, premises liability, and malpractice. u2022 Have experience managing cases independently, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. u2022 Exhibit strong skills in conducting depositions and attending hearings and mediations. u2022 Show familiarity with defense litigation and insurance-related cases. u2022 Proven ability to serve as either second or first chair in trials. u2022 Experience with products liability trucking litigation, or construction defect litigation is a plus.
