Essential Job Functions: + Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts). + Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF). + Job functions will vary depending on the specific project, or shift in priorities based on current business needs. Examples of tasks include, but are not limited to: + Research & Development: Assist in the development and optimization of processes, supporting continuous improvement and regulatory compliance efforts. + Capital Projects: Process improvement ideas or projects could require capital investment, Execute capital projects from inception to hand over and sign off. + Quality Assurance: Assist in quality control processes, data collection, and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. + Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Contribute to safety initiatives, compliance tracking, and assist in risk assessment projects. + Develop interpersonal and professional skills while gaining insight into business operations within a corporate environment and with external resources like contractors and OEMs. + Manage an assigned project focused on continuous improvement within a department (QA, Production, Maintenance, Warehouse) + Comply with all safety regulations and company policies. + Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and logs related to assigned projects and departmental functions. + Work with experienced professionals and gain exposure to best practices in technical and corporate operations. Required Skills: + Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. + Interest in beverage manufacturing processes and corporate operations. + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, Planner) is preferred. + Ability to support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and optimizing operations. + Flexibility to work in a hands-on environment and adjust to changing priorities as needed. + Adherence to all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements while on-site. Competencies: + Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) + Sound Judgement and decision making skills + Innovative Research and Application of Safety Concepts + Interpersonal Tactfulness + General Compliance Knowledge (General Industry) Education and Experience: + Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field. + A minimum GPA of 3.0 in the declared major. + Must be at least 18 years old. + Availability to work hours as assigned by your supervisor and complete all necessary hours required by your university to receive academic credit (if applicable). Working Conditions: + Physical Demands– Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight. + Visual/Sensory – This position requires attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time. + Work environment – Work and environment fasted paced, requiring ability to remain focused under pressure. + Mental Stress – There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, project management, accuracy or similar demands. + Typical Hours: 40 hours/week + Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation.
