The Chef de Partie reports to the Talavera Chef de Cuisine. We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food and are passionate to develop their management skills within the hotel industry, have creativity and flair and the ability to provide guidance to others, and are able to evidence good business acumen and a strong work ethic.What you will doCommunicate with team members to ensure the highest level of personalized serviceSupervising the day-to-day running of the Talavera KitchenConduct line checks of cook’s stationsEnsure proper rotation of product, labelling & proper hierarchy of food storage. In compliance with Ecosure & Maricopa County health standardsEnsure proper following of recipes and productionAim to provide the highest standards of food quality and guest satisfactionFollow Four Seasons standards to the handling and execution of guest allergies and preferencesProvide timely requests for food products to be ordered for Talavera KitchenLead the kitchen service in the absence of Talavera Chef de CuisineService PassionContribute to our environment with a positive and friendly attitudeFlexible to work in all outlets as neededWhat you bringApplicants are required to have four to six years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in fine dining.Supervisory and management experience is required and culinary qualifications are essential.Current Arizona Food Handlers Certificate is requiredPrevious experience in a luxury hotel, or similar environmentStrong command of the English languageRequires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.Schedule & HoursFull TimeFlexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
