We strive for the best culture of Safety, displaying mutual respect to all our clients, vendors and employees.Boudreau seeks a Senior Estimator to leads the plan, coordinate, and develop, detailed and accurate project cost estimates. This individual serves as a key resource in analyzing data, evaluating cost drivers, and preparing clear, comprehensive estimate reviews and presentations. This role is based in Corona, CA, and reports directly to the Chief Estimator. Essential Job FunctionsPrepare comprehensive cost estimates for wet pipeline projects, ensuring all required components—management services, equipment, materials, construction, operations, and related costs—are accurately captured.Attend client pre-bid meetings and jobsite visits, documenting all relevant verbal and written information communicated during the pre-bid and RFQ process.Develop project cost estimates using client RFQ documents, drawings, and all information gathered throughout the bidding and award stages.Clearly explain the basis of each estimate, including labor hour assumptions, resource requirements, and task-level cost drivers.Maintain strong communication with internal departments, project managers, and clients regarding all estimating activities.Apply approved costing methodologies, data, and systems to produce detailed estimate breakdowns for use by project managers and project teams.Support the growth and development of Estimators and support staff through training, guidance, and mentorship.Collaborate with BPC teams throughout the project lifecycle by assisting with change orders, takeoffs, constructability reviews, and cost forecasting.Coordinate and evaluate bid submissions.Provide interim departmental oversight when required.Perform additional duties as assigned.10+ years of experience in project cost estimating/project management with an emphasis in wet pipeline industry projects.Full understanding of Civil Drawings, Water District Standards, Soils Reports, & Project SpecificationsPlan Takeoffs Utilizing Onscreen Programs (Planswift, OST, Bluebeam, Etc…)Proficiency with entire Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, Word, Outlook, & Project)Ability to communicate effectively and able to provide high-level servicein a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills.EducationBachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, preferred.Experience Technical & Estimating SkillsAdvanced knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencingExpertise in developing detailed cost estimates (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, indirect costs)Strong quantity takeoff and cost analysis abilitiesProficiency with estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid, Sage, HCSS, Bluebeam, Timberline)Ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and contract documentsUnderstanding of market pricing, unit costs, and cost trendsExperience preparing competitive bids, proposals, and GMP/Lump Sum estimatesAbility to assess constructability, site conditions, and project risksFamiliarity with value engineering and alternative design solutionsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsSkillsCommunication & LeadershipStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present estimate assumptions and results to leadership, clients, and project teamsSkilled at negotiating with subcontractors and suppliersAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, project managers, and field teamsExperience mentoring and training junior estimators or support staffStrong relationship-building skills with clients, subs, and vendorsProfessional AttributesHumble High attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organization and time-management skillsIntegrity, professionalism, and sound judgment in decision-making
