Apogee has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Specialist in Support of the United States Space Force; Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communications (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT) Directorate. As an Acquisition Analyst you will provide critical support to senior leadership through coordinated visitor engagements, high-quality communication products, and comprehensive acquisition reporting. The role ensures smooth execution of official visits, develops clear and accurate messaging for internal and external audiences, and produces data-driven acquisition reports that inform leadership decision-making. You will excel in coordination, communication, analysis, and attention to detail across fast-paced DoD and Space Force program environments.****Contingent Upon Contract Award and will be located at Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA****Coordinate all PEO organization visit requests, timelines, and communication between visitors and host organizations.Review, distribute, and track visit documentation to ensure timely and compliant processing.Ensure all visit packages meet MilComm & PNT Directorate, Air Force, Space Force, and DoD requirements.Research, draft, and edit speeches, articles, and testimony related to directorate missions and initiatives.Gather and verify information from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and relevance in communications.Analyze communication needs and recommend content, messaging tone, and structure for various audiences.Coordinate with government personnel to maintain consistency of internal and external messaging.Organize written products for clarity, logical flow, and technical accuracy.Conduct additional research as needed to enhance the style, grammar, and effectiveness of communication products.Prepare and integrate graphics, visuals, and supporting materials for presentations.Review and process information proposed for public release, ensuring compliance and obtaining PEO approval.Draft executive summaries and program overviews capturing major issues, milestones, and program health.Track cost, schedule, and technical risks while identifying trends, mitigation strategies, and critical paths.Consolidate data from multiple sources to produce accurate acquisition reports (WAR, MAR, SAR, DAES, APB, MTA, etc.).Verify accuracy and consistency of data in government systems, report discrepancies, and coordinate approvals before submission.Maintain and update program points of contact lists to ensure accurate and current reporting inputs.Integrate program performance data with established baselines to assess execution and compliance.Support cross-functional coordination to ensure acquisition reporting products reflect unified, directorate-wide information.Minimum Experience:Citizenship:Must be a US citizenClearance:Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.Education:High School DiplomaYears of Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience to include:Experience producing high-quality communication products for internal/external audiencesExperience developing comprehensive data-driven acquisition reportingExperience in providing smooth execution of official visits.Preferred Experience:Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in acquisition program/project management or business operationsAdditional InformationLocation: Los Angeles Air Force Base, CAOn-site/Hybrid/Remote: On-SiteTravel: 10%USD $133,936.00 - USD $173,329.00 /Yr.
