In this role, youu2019ll manage the administration of the project for the Owner and be responsible to oversee the planning, design, and construction through the projectu2019s completion and closeout. This position will provide supervision and oversight for the project team, is client facing and will be the direct contact to the Owner.u2022 Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignmentsu2022 Manage project development from conception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with program objectivesu2022 Manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projectsu2022 Manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders and coordinates with Control Manager for proper posting in reporting programu2022 Attend assigned meetings to cover weekly job progress meetings; issues meeting minutes during designu2022 Resolve complex design and construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.u2022 Review status of projects and monitor variances of the design and construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reportingu2022 Provide oversight of one or more Project Management teamsu2022 Provide support and assistance to the Deputy Program Manageru2022 Proactive, detailed, and consistent communication with the client u2022 Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture (consideration will be given to individuals with other degrees combined with construction management experience)u2022 Minimum of 7 yearsu2019 experience as a Project Manager in an Owner, Architecture, Engineering, Environmental or Construction organizationu2022 Project Management experience must include direct oversight of Consultants and Contractorsu2022 Experience on large expansions and/or new construction during both design and construction phases for projects valued over $1200 Million and at least 250,000 GSFu2022 Recommended Certifications: Certified General Contractor registered with the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or a Project Management Professional (PMP, PgMP, or PfMP), CEI related certificationsu2022 Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship buildingSponsorship is not available for this positionJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
