JOB REQUIREMENTS: Safety Engineer II SUMMARY Mortenson is currentlyseeking a passionate Safety Engineer II who can interact with a varietyof staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remainingflexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level ofprofessionalism and confidentiality. The Safety Engineer will work toimplement Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety program at a project site andensure a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, andvisitors to the construction work site. RESPONSIBILITIES Implement andadminister safety programs at each worksite for team members Assistproject management team in developing and executing site-specific safetyprograms and activities Attend, coordinate, and conduct safetyorientation and training programs at the project level Document andtrack all safety violations, unsafe conditions, etc. Conduct work areasafety audits Conduct project's leading and trailing indicatordata/document collection and trend analyses Conduct or assist with majorincident analysis Record, monitor, and analyze Safety, Injury, andHazard statistics Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirementsQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, orrelated field; OR High school diploma, STS/CHST Certification, OSHA 30Hour Training, and a minimum of seven years of continuous constructionexperience leading crews and planning work, including at least fiveyears with responsibility for managing safety programs at the crew orproject level, conducting and reviewing hazard analyses and developingcontrols, planning work activities Minimum of one year of relatedexperience Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and managemultiple project tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office and pertinentsafety-related software programs Positive and professional attitude withstrong customer service skills Ability to interpret and communicatecompany policies to team members and outside parties Strong teamworkorientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadershipskills Effective public speaking and presentation skills Currentdriver's license Ability to travel up to 100% A few benefits offeredinclude: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional costvision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generousMortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employerpaid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool andconcierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursementAdoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay rangefor this role is $79,800 - $107,700.
