We strive to create a workplace where your skills and talents are nurtured to allow you to grow within the company.The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services by establishing, implementing, and evaluating goals and objectives that meet and promote the standards of quality, contributing to the overall organization and philosophy.Experience & Education:Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts.Bachelor's degree in nursing.Prior experience in hospice required.Duties & Responsibilities:Oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical staff.Provides clinical oversight, mentoring, and guidance to interdisciplinary team members.Assists with hiring, evaluation, and supervision of clinical personnel.Develops and maintains clinical policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations and CHAP standards.Provides orientation and ongoing training to clinical staff; oversees in-service education.Maintains quality improvement initiatives, monitors performance indicators, and ensures compliance with the performance improvement program.Monitors and documents the patient’s condition, symptoms, and response to municates effectively with families, caregivers, and providers regarding goals of care and clinical updates.Participates in IDT meetings and care conferences.About Athena Health Care Systems:Since its establishment in 1984, Athena Health Care Systems has pioneered the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
