They open the doors each morning and ensure our restaurants and equipment are in tip-top condition. Keep our kitchens stocked with safe, fresh ingredients that meet our high-quality standards. Basically, porters keep our entire operation running smoothly for guests and team, so we can deliver a dining experience unlike any other.Overview:Provide superior maintenance to interior (dining room, kitchen, restrooms) and exterior of restaurant timely and accuratelyChecks over restaurant from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environmentMaintains appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removalComplete daily, weekly and monthly jobs timely and accuratelyCoordinates job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for openingTakes temperatures of required foods upon delivery accurately, providing documentation on the Quality Control/Safe Food ChecklistPuts food orders away in cooler following protocols for proper stock rotationRotates stock in cooler, freezer and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method of stock rotation monitoring shelf life and code datesMaintains a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurantCompletes scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly, according to the equipment maintenance calendarCompletes daily duties to be ready to work in the kitchen during the lunch shiftWork in the kitchen during the lunch shift is a PLUSReports possible areas of incomplete closing to opening managerCompletes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on dutyWe offer:Competitive wagesComprehensive training programsFree UniformsCareer developmentVacation / Paid time offBonus opportunitiesMeal DiscountsAnd much, much more!Qualifications:A genuine smile!Dependability and reliabilityGood communication skillsA Morning Person1-2 years restaurant/porter experience preferredSweep, mop and scrub using cleaning materialsReach, bend and clean surfaces regularlyAble to work independently AND with a teamBe able to frequently lift and carry up to 75 poundsStrong work ethicStrong time management skillsProblem solverGood hustle!We've made it our commitment that any guest who chooses Culver's leaves happy - and that means creating a great experience for you too!
