Physician Assistant (Surgical 1st Assistant)

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as a First Assist in the OR and support pre- and post-operative care in the clinic setting. Position Overview: The Physician Assistant will work closely with our Chief of Surgery, Vascular and Oncology Surgeons in the operating room, acting as First Assist, and will also participate in clinic responsibilities, including pre-operative evaluations, post-operative follow-up, assist with inpatient rounding as needed, and coordinating communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.RequirementsQualifications:Current Physician Assistant license in NYSNational Certification (NCCPA)Valid DEA licenseBLS and ACLS certificationStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsBenefitsThis is a Full-time employed position with a generous compensation package to include competitive salary, incentives, student loan repayment, sign-on bonus, on-site child day care, and much more!
