APPLY HERE Emergency Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider Rush Oak Park Hospital Oak Park, IL The Emergency Department at Rush Oak Park Hospital is currently recruiting for a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team. This role will function on a rotating -hour schedule alongside full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians and seven fellow Advanced Practice Providers. Night shifts are not currently required but may be added as needed. Two weekends (four shifts) per four week block are required. *APRNs must have pediatrics or Family Nurse Practitioner certification With an annual volume of more than , patients, the Emergency Department is well-staffed with an average of hours of physician coverage and hours of mid-level provider coverage daily. The newly built emergency room was opened in October 9 has private rooms, and Fast Track treatment areas. Emergency Medicine (EM) APPs are employed by the hospital and receive a competitive benefits package, CME allowance and paid time off. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush Oak Park Hospital patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the ROPH medical staff bylaws. The APP will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. The individual who holds this position will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, guidelines of Rush, including the Rush University Medical Group Customer Service standards. Successful candidates will also meet all other state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards.
