If you’re interested in entering the sales field in the SaaS world, the Sales Development Representative level is where you start. It’s where you will fail and where you will learn and where you will grow. Probably in this order. Over time, you can prove yourself and start climbing the sales org chart. Comeet is a great place to start your ascent. (If you have SDR experience, you'll immediately jump high on our priority list).The SDR is the initial business contact for prospects and is responsible, following lead generation, for the next phase of client acquisition. SDRs educate prospective clients about Comeet and schedule product demos for our Account Executives. Expect to make a lot of outbound calls and send out a lot of carefully worded and typo-free emails.Your Responsibilities (not an exhaustive list but you’ll get the idea):• Assisting marketing, including lead-generation and qualification, primarily using online resources• Cold calling prospects via telephone and email• Following up with prospects and answering questions via telephone and email• Scheduling demos for Account Executives• Following up with prospects re: demo and account status, and pricing, etc.• Assisting with training and onboarding of new SDRs• Pursuing opportunities for account growth and new business• Communicating feedback from sales prospects to the sales team• Understanding our capabilities and services, and effectively communicating them to the marketWhat you bring to the table:• Confident and professional phone manner• Driven and competitive by nature• Motivated by goal setting and achievement• Really good task management skills (If you habitually misplace your phone or house keys, this probably isn’t the right position for you)• Curiosity to dive into the recruiting and HR software fields and become super knowledgable about them• Experience with CRM systems (not mandatory but you need to show that you can pick up new software applications quickly)• If you were an athlete in college, emphasize this in your cover letter
