HVAC Service Coordinator

Precision Today is looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing and dedicated HVAC team.Why join THIS HVAC team:Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision (100% covered by the company)Disability & Term Life InsuranceMatching 401k benefitsFully stocked truckOn-going training & development, & growth opportunitiesPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Your key Job Duties will include:Ensuring all sold work is properly ordered, booked and completed.Coordinating with/assisting techs to ensure the proper parts are ordered.Coordinating with/assisting dispatch to ensure follow up work is booked properly to align with parts and customer availability.Updating customers on follow up work when ordered parts on orderedManaging the techs profiles in Service Titan - ensuring all Precision Today and 5 Star technicians service titan profiles are up to date to include pay rate, skill sets, availability, shifts, etc.Building and managing the on-call schedule for 5 Star and Precision Today HVAC techniciansEnsuring all Precision Today and 5 Star service techs have properly working technology (phones/ipads)Managing truck inventory for all Precision Today and 5 star HVAC service techniciansEnsure all techs have the proper service inventory on truck at all timesPerform semi-annual truck inspections on all HVAC service trucksAssist the Service Manager with keeping the HVAC price book updated as neededPerform other tasks and duties as requested by the service managerMaintain and track the service inventory in the Palatine warehouse and the Franklin Park warehouse (after May 1)Ensure service inventory levels are maintained within the stated min/maxEnsure inventories counts are updated as inventory is added/removedDuties that will not be the service coordinator’s responsibilities:Coaching Service system and driving technician performanceSetting the department batting order and working with dispatch to ensure right tech right call is being properly executedConducting 1:1s / coaching sessions with techniciansHiring / Firing HVAC service techniciansWho WE Are: We are a family-owned and operated company, with a small business feel, but large business size, growth, and stability.
