Why Join Us Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented agricultural environment Gain hands-on experience with automated feed mill equipment Opportunities to grow and develop your skills in feed production and farm operations Competitive pay of $18-$20/hr, DOE Key Responsibilities Maintain strict biosecurity standards to protect flocks and operations Operate and monitor feed mill equipment, including grinders, mixers, and conveyors, to produce consistent, high-quality chicken feed Receive, inspect, and manage incoming ingredients following quality assurance procedures Accurately follow feed formulation plans and ensure proper mixing of ingredients Use computer software (Excel and other systems) to track production data, ingredient usage, and inventory levels Maintain detailed records of production, ingredient usage, and inventory; track ingredients both inbound and outbound Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot feed mill machinery to minimize downtime Maintain a safe and clean work environment, participating in routine rodent control and safety initiatives Communicate clearly and effectively with team members in English (Spanish is a bonus) Collaborate with management to meet feed production goals and support poultry operations Qualifications English speaking or bilingual High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in feed mill operations, manufacturing, or agricultural production is a plus; training is available Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a demanding environment Team-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills Flexible with farm-level scheduling needs
