BayCare is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pool/PRN Acute Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our strong, dynamic Rehab team. This individual will focus on the evaluation and treatment of the NICU population as well as PICU, CPICU, and acute care for the infant through teen population with various diagnoses and conditions. Speech Therapist Responsibilities: + Conduct evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients to determine speech, language, voice, fluency, and strong emphasis on feeding/swallowing impairments. + Independence in the administration and interpretation of Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS) a plus. + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and family goals. + Provide direct therapy services in accordance with best practices and organizational standards. + Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient progress. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes. + Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home. + Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning as needed. + Bilingual Spanish skills preferred. Requirements: + Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA + Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. + BLS (Basic Life Support) + Required Master's Speech Therapy + Preferred Doctorate Speech Therapy + 1 year Clinical Related is preferred Facility: BayCare Health System, Rehab Pedi-SJCH Location: St Josephs Children's Hospital Status: Pool, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, varies/Days Weekend Work: None On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely?
