BayCare, a leading healthcare provider in Central Florida region is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: + Responsible for providing optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients preparing for or post bariatric surgery through one-on-one sessions and group classes. + Facilitates and coordinates bariatric patient support groups and serves as a social media moderator for the BayCare Bariatric Facebook Group. + Assists center in maintaining compliance with national and insurance specific bariatric quality designations. + Performs bariatric in-services to team members and physicians. + Represents bariatric program in media requests and community outreach efforts. + Assist in securing patient testimonials. + Ability to build positive relationships with patients and bariatric multi-disciplinary team including nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, surgeons, admin staff, and facility bariatric patient care areas. + Position may require travel to other sites as needed. + Participates in patient education/clinical projects and MBS Committee meetings. + Other duties as assigned.
