Please also know a an FBI CJIS Background check is administered every 12 months.Overview:We are seeking an experienced and proactive engineer to provide support for our CTERA Remote File Service deployed in customer locations and synchronized with AWS. This role is responsible for the comprehensive support and administration of the CTERA Remote File Portal Application and database, hosted on AWS storage, as well as supporting CTERA edge devices located across multiple on-premises locations. You will ensure seamless connectivity and reliable remote file access for end users, troubleshooting issues across cloud and on-prem infrastructure. This engineer must also be capabile of designing and implementing a migration of CTERA to Azure FilesKey Responsibilities:CTERA/AWS Cloud Support:Administer and support the CTERA Remote File Portal Application and its associated database hosted on AWS EC2 instancesManage and monitor AWS EBS volumes, EC2 instances, and S3 storage integrated with the CTERA solutionConduct regular maintenance, upgrades, backups, and patching of the application and databasePerform AWS resource optimization and security hardening as requiredCTERA Edge Device Support:Provide operational support for CTERA edge devices deployed in multiple on-premises environmentsFacilitate and troubleshoot file synchronization, caching, and remote access issues between edge devices and AWS cloud storageMonitor health, connectivity, and performance of edge devices, performing remote or onsite intervention when neededSupport onboarding and configuration of new edge devices for end usersConnectivity & Network Support:Ensure stable and secure connections between edge devices and AWS cloud via public internet and dedicated connections such as MPLSTroubleshoot network issues affecting file access and synchronizationCollaborate with network teams to resolve latency, throughput, or configuration challengesEnd User Support:Act as point of contact for end users and IT teams for queries or problems related to remote file accessProvide resolution to tickets involving both cloud and edge device servicesDocument common issues and resolutions, maintaining updated runbooks and user guidesMonitoring, Reporting, & Documentation:Implement monitoring for cloud resources, application metrics, and edge device statusGenerate reports on service performance, file access metrics, incident response, and usageMaintain thorough documentation for configuration, processes, troubleshooting steps, and incident historyCTERA to Azure Files migration design Act as the lead designer of a migration architecture to migrate CTERA files to Azure FilesDocument the technical architecture design for consumption by Cloud Engineers and architectsProvide training/handover to Azure cloud engineers to support existing CTERA environmentRequirements:6+ years hands-on experience with AWS or Azure services Must have CTERA Enterprise File Services (Cloud and Edge devices) experienceFamiliarity with remote file access, synchronization, and cloud-to-edge file gateway architecturesExperience managing and troubleshooting hybrid network connections (Internet, VPNs, MPLS)Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and documentation best practicesCertification in AWS or Azure Cloud: such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104),AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect Highly Preferred Skills and Expectations:AWS/ Azure Certified Solutions Architect Experience with enterprise storage platforms and file servicesPrior experience supporting distributed teams or multi-site infrastructureStrong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented attitudeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.#LI-MIWS#INDICSAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
