Engineering Lab Manager

An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm are looking for an Engineering Lab ManagerEngineering Lab Manager is required to support the assembly/alignment/testing of RF/Microwave electronic component assemblies, starting with PC sub-assemblies to modules to system integration.Responsibilities:Generation of in-process test procedures/data sheets for PCA’s, modules and top-level system testing.Review of customer performance specifications (EQ spec) and customer supplied documents.Top level system test requirements including Thermal Cycling, Thermal Vacuum, Vibration, Shock and EMI testing.Generation of engineering required documentation:Test support for engineers, technicians, engineering associates.Tools (universal for RF/Microwave assemblies.Test equipment (specific to each program)Technical understanding of typical system designs:Passive designs (power dividers, lowpass/highpass/bandpass filters, crystal filters.Active designs (oscillators, amplifiers, multipliers, phase locked loops, mixers.etc.)Familiarity with EEE parts selection, including characterization/evaluation, screening, traceability and derating requirements for space applications.Education and Required Skills: 10 years Engineering background, working in Product Lifecycle Management SystemComprehensive Benefits Package:Health Insurance, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability.
