Job Description

We are offering a 12-month postgraduate program for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Acute Care Surgery with a start date of May 2026.The HealthPartners Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship at Regions Hospital, a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, engages APC learners in extensive training within the core services of Trauma,Emergency General Surgeryand Surgical Intensive Care, as well as required rotations in specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency. Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, formulating an assessment and plan, and providing necessary treatments and procedures.An APC fellow’s work is supervised by an attending physician or APC.Through lectures, skills training and clinical simulations, didactic sessions complement the diverse rotations and hands-on experiences, offering the APC Fellow the opportunity to develop clinical competence and confidence, critical thinking, and interprofessional collaboration.
