Provides pastoral care to all Phoebe Berks staff. Serves as a clinical mentor for CPE students/interns and is responsible for volunteer development and community networking.Supervises on-site pastoral care staff and volunteers. Works collaboratively with PC/HCC chaplain and other departments to provide holistic care. Understands the differences in resident needs based on the diversity in services and levels of care offered on the Berks campus. Uses creativity, imagination and evidence-based practices to develop programs that are appropriate for each setting/population. Overseas administrative duties associated with department and care of Berks Chapel. Requirements for a Chaplain with Phoebe Berks:The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.Master of Divinity degree; completed at least four units of CPEOrdained for ministry and in good standing with one’s faith group/traditionEndorsed for chaplaincy by one’s faith group/traditionBoard certified or eligible for board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains/APC, National Association of Catholic Chaplains/NACC, or other nationally recognized professional chaplaincy organizationA minimum of three years experience in a pastoral ministry setting.Eligible for certification by Association of Professional Chaplains or moving toward this goal.Candidates who excel are those who can thrive in a positive and respectful Customer Driven Culture while embodying the organization’s Faith in Action Mission, Vision, and Values.Phoebe is an equal opportunity employer.
