The Role.The Vice President,Paid Media and SEO will lead Bluehost'sperformance marketing strategyand programsto drive high-quality acquisition, revenue growth, and customer lifetime value. This leader will own paid search, display, programmatic,organic search,SEO, and emerging digital channels—building a performance engine that scales efficiently across geographies and products.This role requires deep channelexpertise,analyticalprecisionand creative agilitytotranslate business goals into scalable performance programs, guide multimillion-dollar investments with confidenceand focus on results, and inspire a team that thrives on experimentation, efficiency, and impact.What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark. Performance Marketing LeadershipLead all paid media channels (Search, Display, Video, Social) and SEO acrossmultiple offerings and relevantmarkets.Define and manage amulti-million $annual media budget withfocusonMRR, Spend/MRR, and MER efficiency.Develop full-funnel acquisition strategies—from awareness to conversion to expansion—optimizing forgrowthand LTV.Drive experimentation frameworks for bidding, creative testing, and audience segmentation powered by AI and automation.SEO and Organic GrowthOversee global SEO strategy including technicalfoundations, on-page, and content-led initiatives to maximize organic visibility and non-paid growth.Build scalable programmatic SEO initiatives tied to product and category expansion.Grow high-intent traffic andoptimizeconversion paths through data-backed insights, newtoolsandcontent innovation.PartnerwithWeb and Cartteams to ensure web experience, site architecture, and landing pages areoptimizedfor both performance and experience.Analytics, Attribution & OptimizationBe the ownerforthesingle sourceof truth for paid and organic performance dashboards, layered on systems like GA4,Adobe,SFDCetc.Partner withother Marketing teamsand Finance to refine attribution models and inform spend reallocation decisions.Drive automation through AI bidding, predictive LTV models, and real-time performance reporting.Team & Cross-Functional LeadershipLead and mentor a global team of paid media and SEO professionals (in-house + agency).Partner with Product Marketing, Lifecycle, and Brand teams to ensure unified messaging and optimized journeys.Collaborate with Finance and Strategy to ensure performance plans align with quarterly targets and Rule of 40 principles.Who you are & whatyou’llneed to succeed.Extensive Experience: Typically, 10-15 years in digital marketing, witha significant portioninleadership roles overseeing SEO and paid media strategies.Technical Stack andAnalytical Expertise:Proficiencyinharnessing new-age AI platforms andanalytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush,Adobe stack,Ahrefs) to derive insights and inform strategy.Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams toward achieving common goals.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with businessobjectivesand adapt to changing marketconditions, andevolving technologies with AI munication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the web hosting or SaaS industry.Familiarity with Bluehost's product offerings and customer base.Proventrack recordof scaling digital marketing initiatives in a high-growth environment.Why you’ll love us.Work-life balance.
