SummaryGoldbelt TRAM is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shuttle Driver. The Shuttle Driver will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient shuttle and parking operations, providing guests with a positive arrival and departure experience.We're excited to share that the job is based in beautiful Juneau, Alaska! We kindly ask that all applicants either live in Juneau or be open to relocating at their own expense.Pay and Benefits:Seasonal Employees are eligible for the Seasonal Employee Layoff Bonus Plan. The plan is designed to provide an effective means to motivate and compensate eligible seasonal employees during the term of their assignment. However, Goldbelt, Inc. may, in certain limited circumstances, grant discretionary performance bonuses outside of this program, in the sole discretion of the Company.Goldbelt, Inc. hopes that by providing short-term incentive compensation, this will motivate and increase the retention rate among its employees which in turn will enhance Goldbelt Inc.’s long-term value.Starting Rate:$22.00 - DOENecessary Skills and KnowledgeKnowledge of customer service techniquesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality servicePhysical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects as neededAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyMinimum Qualifications (education, experience, skills)Must hold and maintain a valid State Issued Driver's LicensePrevious experience in customer service or a similar roleFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to successfully pass a background checkPreferrred Qualifications (education, experience, skills)High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of safety and emergency proceduresCurrent CPR and first aid certificates.Job DutiesOperates assigned shuttle routes safely and consistently providing reliable and timely transport.Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Direct vehicles to available parking spaces in an organized and efficient mannerGreet guests upon arrival and departure, providing friendly and professional assistance as neededCollect parking fees and issue receipts, ensuring accuracy in transactionsMonitor the parking lot area for any safety hazards or security concerns, taking appropriate action as neededManage traffic flow within the parking lot, especially during peak times, to minimize congestion and ensure safetyKeep the vehicle and parking lot clean and well-maintained, including removing debris and snow as necessaryEffectively communicate with guests and colleagues to provide information and assistance as requiredAddress guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfactionAdhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and guidelines, to maintain a safe and compliant parking environmentPerforms other duties as assigned.
