Forklift/Crane Operator

Forklift Operator Adecco is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator with overhead crane experience in Houston, Tx. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and production facility. Your role will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: + Safely operate a forklift to transport goods to and from storage areas, loading docks, or production areas. + Load and unload materials and products from delivery trucks and other shipping vehicles. + Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies. + Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. + Assist with general warehouse tasks, such as sorting and organizing materials. + Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the forklift to ensure proper functioning. + Work closely with the team to meet daily production goals and deadlines. + Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting. + Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification). + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. + Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. + Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
