At Martin Sprocket & Gear, weu2019re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled Outside Sales Representatives like you What Youu2019ll Do: + Promote and sell Industrial Power Transmission components (sprockets, gears, sheaves, pulleys) and/or Bulk Material Handling equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, conveyor pulleys) to both new and existing distributor accounts throughout the territory. + Conduct product training and sales presentations to educate customers on product features, proper use, and maintenance, ensuring they understand the value and functionality of our solutions. + Develop new business opportunities by actively seeking out and building relationships with new customers, while maintaining and strengthening partnerships with current clients to deliver excellent service. + Provide comprehensive support, offering technical and non-technical guidance to clients on operating, maintaining, and applying parts and equipment, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term success. What You'll Bring: + Willingness to travel to meet with clients and develop business opportunities. + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience. + Familiarity with the industrial marketplace in the territory and surrounding areas, including key industry players and trends. + Knowledge of Power Transmission components (sprockets, gears, sheaves, pulleys) and/or Bulk Material Handling equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, conveyor pulleys). + Proven success in outside sales, with a track record of selling to an established distributor base and achieving sales targets. + Experience conducting product training and sales presentations to educate customers and showcase product value. + Demonstrated ability to develop new business, identify potential customers, and create long-lasting relationships. + Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude, capable of understanding and solving moderate to complex problems. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, customer-oriented approach. + Self-motivated and goal-driven, with strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently. + Commitment to exceptional customer service, always prioritizing client satisfaction. + Proficient with computers and skilled in organization and multi-tasking.
