The individual in thisposition will develop and enhance the marketing efforts and visibilityof university departments, their programs and campaigns. Responsible forplanning, coordinating and implementing the execution of all aspects ofmarketing projects, including defining project scope, creating marketingbriefs and plans, establishing schedules and deadlines, communicatingwith designers, writers and other project stakeholders, coordinatingprinting and tracking results. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordinateand implement marketing projects (including print, web, video,advertising, events) from concept to completion to engage targetaudiences. Set deadlines, develop and follow detailed project managementplans, work closely with creative leads, monitor and summarize progressof project. Coordinate print buying and other services with outsidevendors. 2. Plan and manage budget and vendor payments for departmentsrelated to marketing projects. Responsible for statements of work,purchase orders, approvals and coordination with departments todetermine best use of funds. 3. Develop, analyze and manage reporting onmarketing performance metrics. Report on key success metrics andanalytics to provide thorough business analysis and strategic programand tactical recommendations. Use ongoing analytics to make changes toprogram and marketing roadmaps/campaigns informed by audience response.4. Develop proactive outreach plan for university partners and maintainpartnerships across campus. 5. In collaboration with universitydepartment representatives and OMC , develop, manage and executestrategic marketing briefs and plans (as appropriate) to achievepartners' goals and objectives. 6. Quality assurance responsibilitiesfor all projects. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor'sdegree in marketing, public relations, advertising, businesscommunications or related field required. 3 years project and/or accountmanagement experience in a marketing context Knowledge of marketing andcampaign planning, implementation and measurement. Demonstratedexperience with print buy ng. Excellent project management,organizational, and time management skills required. Proficient withMicrosoft Office and Wrike, or other project management software.Ability to identify objectives and to plan, budget and execute marketingprojects in support of stated objectives. Counsel and lead as needed,assess requests and make recommendations on marketing tactics andimplementation Exceptional interpersonal ability and written and verbalcommunication skills required. Proactively seeks opportunities to learn new tools andtechnology Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiarity withContent Management Systems for making web updates.
