QA Inspector

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary Under the direction of the Quality LabSupervisor, with guidance from the Quality Lab Tech Lead, the QualityAssurance Lab Technician is responsible for the completion of testingand inspection, dimensional analysis and support of other departmentswithin HellermannTyton. This position requires the Technician be able tocomplete product/process inspections in a product enviornment as well asa lab environment while managing files and software. Overtime will berequired including some weekend hours. This position will also maintainHellermannTyton's TS16949/ISO14001/EMS certifications by supporting allcorporate policies, procedures, work instructions and requireddocumentation. Essential Functions: Understand Customer Expectations asthey relate to Product Quality Thrive in and help support a TeamAtmosphere Help support the HellermannTyton Team by mentoring Operatorsregarding Quality of Product Perform 1st Piece Inspection ofmanufactured product Perform in-process inspection of manufacturedproduct Perform Product specific tests including but not limited totensile Perform moisture analysis on manufacutured product as well asincoming Verify Material Certification and Approve raw material Enterand edit SPC data in the SPC computer file File all QA records andsamples (obsolete and current). Use incoming color chip samples toverify colorant in receiving Handle non-conforming material isolationand documentation Perform a dimensional layout referencing theHellermannTyton drawing Use SPC software Record all inspection and testdata. Weigh parts. Use control plans. PPAP and PPC testing.
