JobDescription: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety offood manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and operationalissues and implement effective repairs. Complete and document workorders in the CMMS system as assigned. Set up production equipment forchangeovers (material, size, product, or pack pattern). Test equipmentfollowing maintenance or changeovers to ensure quality spect parts for wear and damage; procure basic maintenance items asneeded. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from productionpersonnel. Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards.13 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (foodindustry preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in atleast one maintenance area (pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors,etc.). Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.Familiarity with packaging equipment and production linesetup/changeover. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspectingdrives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, ordoing other preventive maintenance actions. Inspect, operate, or testmachinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Adjustfunctional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools,levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. Repair machines, equipment, orstructures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches,or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical orelectronic testing devices.
