JOB REQUIREMENTS: CLASS SUMMARY: This position is responsible forcoordinating a broad range of human resource functions. Responsibilitiesmay include administering benefits; performing tasks related torecruitment and onboarding; and ensuring compliance with laws andregulations. TYPICAL CLASS ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (These duties are arepresentative sample; position assignments may vary.) 1. Researching,analyzing, and administering healthcare plans, from medical and dentalbenefits to disability and family leave. Advising employees, answeringquestions, and enrolling staff in benefit and compensation programs. 2.Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes; Conduct employeeonboarding; Generating official internal documents such as offerletters, appointment letters. 3. Provide support to employees in variousHR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issuesthat may arise. 4. Maintain employee files and records in electronic andpaper form. 5. Develops human resources solutions by collecting andanalyzing information and recommends courses of action. 6. Serve as theHR payroll liaison in conjunction with the Payroll department. 7. AssistSenior HR Generalist with payment of bills associated with benefitadministration. 8. Ensure smooth communication with employees and timelyresolution to their queries processing various paperwork, especiallyregarding disability, FMLA absences, and employee life status changes 9.Other duties as assigned TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE (positions in thisclass typically require): Bachelors degree in Human Resources or relatedfield; 5-7 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience sufficient to successfully perform theessential duties of the job such as those listed above.
